Numbat

The numbat is a native Australian and on the endangered species list. It’s another ant/termite eater, although this one is a marsupial. It’s only between 14-18 inches long from nose to tail. It has 50 very small nonfunctional teeth, but it is able to chew if necessary. The numbat is solitary and territorial, only crossing territories to mate.
