Gavial

The gavial, or gharial is native to India and part of the crocodilian family. It’s primary diet is fish. It’s long, slender snout holds 110 teeth. The male gavial has a bulbous nasal protrusion at the end of it’s snout. It amplifies hisses and snorts through the underlying nostrils. It’s not entirely understood what purpose it serves.
