Toucan

The toucan is native to Southern Mexico, Central America, the northern portion of South America, and the Caribbean region. They make their nests in tree hollows and holes excavated by other animals such as woodpeckers—the toucan bill has very limited use as an excavation tool. Toucans primarily eat fruit but will also eat insects and lizards. They’ll also eat eggs of other birds.
