Roti Island Snake-necked Turtle

The Roti Island snake-necked turtle (Chelodina mccordi) is a Critically Endangered species from Rote Island in Indonesia. The carapace can reach lengths between 18-24 cm. the length of the neck is about the same. It lives in swamps, rice terraces, and small lakes.
