The ring-tailed cat is actually part of the raccoon family and not feline at all. They’re smaller than a house cat, only 1.5-3.3 lbs. it is found in desert, rocky regions in California, Colorado, Kansas, Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas, Utah, and throughout northern and central Mexico.
