The large flying fox, also known as the greater flying fox and Malaysian flying fox, is a Southeast Asian species of mega bat. It, along with all other Old World fruit bats, are unable to echolocate. The large flying fox weighs between 1.4-2.4 lbs with a wingspan of up to 4’11”.
