This is an Asian vine snake. I wasn’t able to find a lot of info on this critter other than that they are fairly docile. They are venomous but only mildly so. In theory, if someone is allergic, anaphylaxis is possible. Like all snakes the Asian vine snake is cold-blooded, meaning they cannot produce body heat and must rely on the sun or some other heat source to regulate their body temperature. Unlike other snakes, they require UVA/UVB light, an important note if keeping one as a pet.
