Christmas

Christmas is coming! Yes, I know it’s months away. But you know what happened last year when you waited until the last minute…

So I’ll say it again…Christmas is coming! Why not get a jump on things now? What says ‘thoughtful gift’ more than a specially commissioned portrait of someone’s beloved pet? Give the gift of fond memories…a portrait that will remind them of their precious fur baby.

Time is ticking!

Don’t let the holiday season sneak up on you! You know how it is. We go through the summer months enjoying the sun with Christmas being the furthest thing from our minds. And before you know it, we’re all caught up in Labor Day BBQ’s, getting in a few more pool parties, and beach bonfires. And then, BAM! Just as your summer tan is starting to fade, you turn around and it’s Thanksgiving and you realize in a moment of panic…Christmas is coming! Here it comes. The whole holiday rush, crowded malls and shopping centers, less than patient shoppers, searching endlessly for that ever elusive perfect gift…that is if you can even find parking.

Get an Early Start

Why not scratch one off the list early? Schedule an animal portrait for that special someone, send me pics of the animal, forget about it, and leave the rest to me. It will take me about a month to work my magic and do what I do (for the most popular black and white 8”x10”). You’ll get progress pics along the way. And when the project is complete, you’ll receive a portrait that’s ready for framing. If you’re a Los Angeles local, we can arrange for pick-up. If not, your portrait will be mailed to you in a shipping tube or other equally safe and secure package.

Portrait quality photos need to be close and clear.

All I require are some usable photos of the animal in question. You can check out my photo guidelines here…Planning Your Photographs. In a nutshell, they should be close up, clear photos that allow me to see the pet’s face easily. But please do see the guidelines for more detailed instructions. If it’s meant to be a surprise, that might mean you discretely taking pics of your own, or possibly requesting them from someone else in the pet’s household. So allow time to strategize if necessary.

Christmas is coming, folks! Five months left to be exact. That should give me time to do four to five portraits. Get a jump on things and claim your spot now! Please understand that the longer you wait, you might also have to account for shipping time (if you’re not local). For more information, go to my How It Works page. For any other questions, feel free to contact me here. I look forward to hearing from you!
