The Cecropia moth is north America’s largest moth with a wingspan of 6″. The are found as far west as the Rocky Mountains and north into the majority of Canadian provinces. Like all members of the giant silk moth family, Cecropia moth males are designed only to reproduce. It lacks mouth parts and digestive system. They survive a maximum of two weeks.
