The Caqueta titi monkey (Callicebus caquetensis), also known as red-bearded titi or bushy-bearded titi, is one of the most recently discovered primates (2008). It’s an extremely rare species found only in Caqueta Colombia. It’s range is no larger than 100 sq km. With a population of no more than 250 individuals, it is considered Critically Endangered. The caqueta titi form monogamous pairs, raising one baby each year. It’s diet consists of fruit, leaves, and sometimes seeds. I’ve attached a time lapse of this one for you.
