The lowland streaked tenrec is native to Madagascar. They’re found in tropical lowland rain forests in northern and eastern Madagascar. They’re about 4.8-6.5″ long. They have yellow and black stripes with scattered quills, some barbed and some detachable. They feed primary on earthworms but also on other insects as well.
