Greater Grison

The greater grison is native to Central and South America. They belong to the same family as badgers and weasels and usually inhabit a wide range of forest and savanna habitats and are usually seen near streams and rivers. They are small, only about 2′ at the shoulder. It’s legs are quite muscular and they have five webbed toes which end in sharp claws. At home either in trees or in the water, the greater grison’s diet consists of both birds and fish, as well as amphibians and other small mammals.
