It Can Be a Yucky Business

This repost discusses selling your art and how for most artists, it’s a yucky business that can dredge up feelings of uneasiness, sleaziness, and an overall feelings of being a sell-out. After all, shouldn’t artists create art because they’re passionate about their work and not driven by the almighty dollar? The answer is…artists create because it is what they’re passionate about. But what’s so wrong about an artist making money from the fruits of their passionate work? Artists have to eat too, right?
