Open Call

Questions, Requests, Topics of Interest

To my recollection, I don’t think I’ve ever done an open call with this blog. In all this time I’ve been chatting about topics that pique my interest or things that I’m wrapped up in with a variety of projects. I’m really not sure, but I don’t think I’ve ever asked if anyone had questions or requests for me to chat about any particular art related topic. So, I thought I’d take the opportunity to mix things up a little bit and do that now.

It occurs to me that not everyone out there is an artist and maybe you want to know what makes artists tick simply because you’re trying to make heads or tails of the artist in your life. Admittedly, we are a different breed. Or maybe, young or old, you’re a brand new artist just starting out and have a ton of how-to questions. I can’t guarantee that I have all the answers, but I’ll answer to the best of my ability. And if I just plain don’t know, perhaps I can at least point you in the right direction. Maybe there’s an artist you really dig and would like to see a post about them, which highlights their work and career. Or maybe you have a question about my work in particular. I have no secrets about my work! Tips and tricks? I’ll reveal all. Just ask!

It’s not that you weren’t always welcome to ask me questions before, but I am making it a point now to officially put it out there.
