Found this old sketch the other day while I was cleaning up and sorting through supplies and old sketchbooks. It’s an old preliminary sketch for a tiger I did quite some time later. I have a thing for big cats and an absolute soft spot for tigers. This one was done in charcoal and pencil. I think I was struck by this tiger’s expression…almost contemplative.
